VI PEEL
The VI Peel, developed by the Vitality Institute, is a medical-grade chemical peel designed to address a wide range of skin concerns. VI Peel treatments help lift pigmentation, reduce sun damage, improve acne and scarring, and combat fine lines and wrinkles. Its synergistic blend of potent ingredients is suitable for all skin types, enhancing skin tone, texture, and clarity while delivering anti-aging benefits. These medium-depth peels are painless and safe, with results visible in as little as seven days.
During treatment, the VI Peel gently exfoliates the top layer of skin, revealing a brighter, smoother, and rejuvenated complexion.
At Eterna Aesthetics, we offer both VI Peel Precision Plus and VI Peel Purify Precision Plus:
- VI Peel Precision Plus – Ideal for pigmentation, sun damage, melasma, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This peel exfoliates skin to fade discoloration and improve texture, promoting rapid cell turnover for a more even skin tone.
- VI Peel Purify Precision Plus – Formulated specifically for acne and acne scarring. It targets active breakouts while reducing the appearance of scars and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
VI PEEL OPTIONS
VI Peel offers six customizable treatments to address a variety of skin concerns:

Chemical peels work by applying a solution—such as alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), beta hydroxy acid (BHA), or trichloroacetic acid (TCA)—to the skin. Peels vary in intensity, from light, low-downtime treatments to deeper, more aggressive options. Lighter peels can be performed more frequently, while deeper peels may require longer recovery periods but can deliver more dramatic results.

TCA CHEMICAL PEEL
Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) is a powerful chemical agent used to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin at both superficial and deeper levels. TCA peels are commonly applied to the face, neck, décolleté, hands, and legs, and can also be used as a targeted “spot treatment” for specific areas.
A TCA peel is a medium-depth chemical peel, removing the top layer of skin along with a small portion of the underlying layer to reveal fresher, smoother skin beneath. Unlike peels containing glycolic or salicylic acid, TCA penetrates deeper for more noticeable results.
At Eterna Aesthetics, we recommend TCA peels for a variety of skin concerns, including fine lines, acne and acne scars, sun damage, sun spots, melasma, freckles, broken blood vessels, spider veins, and rough or uneven texture.
After the peel is applied by our expert providers, the top layer of skin naturally flakes or peels over a period of approximately 5–7 days, though this may vary. Once the process is complete, your skin will appear smoother, softer, more even, and rejuvenated.
BENEFITS OF TCA CHEMICAL PEEL
- Enhances overall skin tone and clarity
- Reduces acne and post-acne scarring
- Minimizes clogged pores
- Softens fine lines and wrinkles
- Firms and lifts sagging skin
- Refines skin texture for a smoother appearance
- Helps diminish unwanted freckles
- Safe for all skin types
TCA PEELING PROCESS
During a TCA chemical peel, your skin may temporarily appear red, and a white “frosting” may form as the solution is applied. Some patients may experience a mild numbing sensation. Redness or darkening of the skin can persist for a few days during recovery, with your skin gradually returning to a balanced, refreshed appearance within a few weeks.
WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM TCA PEELS?
TCA peels are generally safe for most skin types, particularly normal to oily skin, sun-damaged skin, or dull and uneven complexions. Those with sensitive skin should start with lower-strength formulations and gradually progress to stronger peels under professional guidance.

FAQ’s
Chemical peels promote exfoliation by removing the outermost layers of skin. While our skin naturally sheds old cells, this process—known as cell turnover—slows with age, leaving skin looking dull and uneven. By encouraging exfoliation, chemical peels stimulate the growth of fresh, healthy cells at the surface. These new cells are plumper, smoother, and more radiant, helping to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance.
Chemical peels are ideal for skin struggling with stubborn discoloration, hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, and post-acne scarring. They also stimulate collagen production, helping to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by removing dead skin cells that can make them more noticeable. While peels may not fully address sagging skin, the boost in collagen can help skin appear firmer and more lifted.
Chemical peels can sometimes cause temporary reactions such as flushing during treatment, redness, swelling, crusting, or peeling afterward. It’s important never to pick at peeling skin or scabs, as this can lead to pain and permanent damage.
Individuals with darker skin tones may experience temporary lightening or darkening of the skin, which is why chemical peels should only be performed by trained skincare professionals familiar with different skin types and the Fitzpatrick scale. Options like the VI Peel provide a safe, effective, and inclusive medium-depth chemical peel suitable for all skin tones, offering visible results with minimal discomfort.
A VI Peel is a quick treatment, typically completed in about 30 minutes. Recovery generally takes around seven days, during which your skin may peel as it reveals a fresher, brighter layer beneath. After the peeling process, your complexion will appear radiant and rejuvenated. Daily use of sunscreen is essential until your skin is fully healed to protect your results and maintain a healthy glow.
